The Panoramic Ropeway Ride

Savitri Mata Ropeway Pushka. As we approach the Ropeway  (chairlift) in Ajmer, close to Pushka,  prepare to be captivated by the stunning vistas that await us. This cable car system operates in Pushkar, Rajasthan, facilitating access to the revered Savitri Mata Temple situated atop Ratnagiri Hill. The ropeway not only serves to transport devotees and tourists more conveniently to the temple but also highlights the picturesque views of Pushkar Lake and the surrounding terrain. The construction of the ropeway began in 2017 and was inaugurated in 2020, designed by the Damodar Ropeway & Infra Limited.

Stretching approximately 720 meters, it offers a breathtaking ascent that takes less than six minutes, allowing us to ascend to an elevation of 750 feet without the strenuous hike up the hill. Each cabin can accommodate up to six passengers, making it comfortable for families and groups. The area surrounding the entrance of the ropeway is alive with activity from local merchants selling traditional crafts and refreshments, adding to the overall experience. As we board the cable car, the anticipation builds. We will be treated to panoramic views that reveal the stunning landscape of Rajasthan, filled with greenery, rustic beauty of the Pushkar region.
