As we travel towards Kodaikanal, our path brings us to the serene Aliyar Dam, a welcome break from the road. Located near Pollachi, this impressive structure holds back the waters of the Aliyar River, creating a large, calm reservoir nestled against the backdrop of the Anamalai mountains.
